- Frankfurter type sausages or another of the child's taste
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
Tips: Apart from the ingredients, you will also need scissors or a pizza cutter to cut the puff pastry strips, a brush and a previously greased baking dish.
1- Wash and dry the sausages. Reserve them.
2- With the help of scissors, cut thin strips of about 1 cm, of puff pastry. You can also use a pizza cutter, if it's more convenient for you.
3- Wrap each sausage with the puff pastry strips, crossing them all over the sausage so that it looks like a real mummy.
4- Beat the egg in a bowl and with the help of a brush, paint the puff pastry with the beaten egg. Make sure the puff pastry is well attached to the sausage.
5- Arrange the mummies in a previously greased baking dish, with enough space so that they do not stick, and take them to the oven preheated to 180 degrees, for approximately 20 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden.
6- Take the mummies out of the oven and let them cool.
7- With a little thick mayonnaise, draw the eyes of the mummies, putting a nail in the middle.
8- For the mouth, we draw a dot with a drop of ketchup.
